The activities and events of the second phase of “Aatsuq” project, carried out by the Organization of Development Pioneers in Al-Aweenat Municipality, which included three workshops on participatory planning, facilitation skills, data collection, joint dialogue mechanisms and the importance of community participation. These workshops aimed at preparing participants and enabling them to participate in participatory planning and teamwork, identifying municipal priorities, involving citizens and public opinion in formulating, following up and evaluating the municipal council plan
and enabling them to communicate with the public and collaborative planning.
The Project is one of the projects of the “lenataawan” project implemented by the British Council in Libya in partnership with the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development and the International Center for Local Development and Good Governance with funding from the European Union.
