Launch of the Water Desalination Plant Maintenance Project in Tahala Municipality


As part of its ongoing efforts to improve water services, the Organization of Development Pioneers (ODP), donated from the World Food Programme (WFP), has launched a maintenance project for the water desalination plant in Tahala Municipality.
This significant event was marked by a joint visit from Mr. Mohammed Gamoudi, the Executive Director of ODP, and Mr. Mansour Khawad, a representative of the WFP, along with the municipality’s mayor and members of the municipal council. During the visit, details of the project were agreed upon, aiming to enhance the plant’s capacity to provide safe drinking water for the local residents.
As many residents are facing a shortage of clean water. The project is expected to improve the quality of life and enhance the sustainability of water resources in Tahala Municipality.
ODP reaffirms its commitment to collaborating with local authorities and civil society to ensure the success of this vital project, reflecting a shared vision to meet the needs of the population and achieve sustainable development in the region.
