In an expanded meeting with Mr. Ibrahim Sharafuddin, mayor of Tajarhi municipality, Mr. Mohammed Al-Qamoudi, CEO of the Organization of Development Pioneers ODP, discussed the basic service, health, and livelihood projects of Tajrahi municipality at the headquarters of the organization in Tripoli.
The meeting addressed extensive insights on the work of the organization, its existing projects, and the future plans through which the organization aims to expand the geographical area of its projects to include as many municipalities as possible, especially remote ones. The organization seeks to work to improve access to basic services for citizens in the target municipalities through projects implemented in more than 11 municipalities in southern Libya, in addition to the organization’s efforts to improve the infrastructure of the health sector through its existing and future projects.
Mr.Ibrahim Sharaf Aldin, Mayor of Tajrahi Municipality, stressed the importance of joint work between all government, private, and civil society sectors to improve basic services. He also praised the work of the ODP, which targets development projects that provide basic services, also noting that extreme solar energy projects, especially in remote areas, should be given due to their close association with the lives of citizens.
This meeting is part of a series of intensive meetings held by Organization of Development Pioneers with various municipalities to discuss the needs of municipalities to develop their services and living realities, which will positively reflect on citizens.
